Annual General Meeting 2022

-MLSS 2022 AGM-

The Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers held their Annual General Meeting at their Maintenance Facility, on June 11, 2022. We would like to thank outgoing President, Dana Ogden for all his hard work and dedication to the club. Guiding our Board members and volunteers through the past few seasons was not an easy task. For his tremendous contribution and dedication we thank him for his efforts, hard work and look forward to working and seeing him in the future. After years of serving with the club, Director (and generous land owner) Cliff Lister retired. His contributions to the club have had a huge bearing on the success of the club. Steve Lang was selected as the new President, vacating his Grooming Coordinator position. Dennis Gerrow was nominated and selected as the the new Grooming Coordinator, a role he has experience in. Member Kevin Kent was nominated and selected as a new Director who will be taking on the role of Volunteer Coordinator. All other Board members continue in their previous roles resulting in a full Board. The Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers are looking forward to preparing some of the best trails in the province for you to enjoy.

President’s End-of-Season Message

Maple Leaf Snow Skimmers sincerely thank our membership, volunteers and business community for the support provided during challenges of the past season. We were successful in recruiting and training new groomer operators as our club’s highest priority. They stepped up to ensure smooth and safe trails for riders to enjoy. A huge thank you to our generous landowners who allow trails through their property for our snowmobile season. Please respect their land and stay on the trails. The many positive comments through the season were appreciated and if you wish to become a volunteer please contact us on Facebook. Have a safe and enjoyable summer and hope to see you on our trails next winter.
